The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor

The role of the Independent Implementation Supervisor (IIS) was established to oversee the implementation of the Queensland Government Response to recommendations from the two Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce Hear her voice reports and recommendations from the independent Commission of Inquiry A Call for Change: Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence.

"As the IIS, I intend for the Women's Safety and Justice Taskforce reforms to effect enduring change for women and girls throughout Queensland, and I will continue to honour the voices of victim-survivors and vulnerable women in all my work. I hope that the current effort and commitments are embedded and sustained, and the community has confidence that the reform program is progressing."

Reports

Progress reports are prepared by the IIS and detail the progress of recommendations due to be completed within each six-month reporting period. These reports also explore the adequacy of implementation of selected recommendations, deep dive discussions on selected areas of implementation, and broader findings relating to progress achieved across the system to date.
