The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor

The role of the Independent Implementation Supervisor (IIS) was established to oversee the implementation of the Queensland Government Response to recommendations from the two Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce Hear her voice reports and recommendations from the independent Commission of Inquiry A Call for Change: Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence.

Reports

The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor (OIIS) has released four progress reports.

The first two progress reports were prepared by the interim IIS, Linda Apelt, in December 2022 and May 2023 and detail the progress of recommendations due to be completed by 31 March 2023.

The third and fourth progress reports were prepared by the IIS, Ms Catherine (Cathy) Taylor and detail the progress of recommendations due to be completed by 31 March 2024. These reports also explore the adequacy of implementation of selected recommendations, deep dive discussions on selected areas of implementation, and broader findings relating to progress achieved across the system to date.
